Passionate ● Energetic ● Committed
With 20 years’ experience as a personal assistant working exclusively for high profile CEO's and owners of successful award winning businesses I joined Dementia Care Matters in October 2013 as David's Executive Assistant.
My biggest but equally most rewarding challenge is keeping up with David's unrelenting energy and passion for changing the culture of care for people living with a dementia, both nationally and internationally. No day or hour is ever the same in supporting the most dynamic and demanding of CEO's schedules - working with David is much more than simply a job, it has become my passion also.
My early working life started very differently. I grew up in the rural West Sussex countryside where I studied at Brinsbury Agricultural College in Billingshurst for 2 years achieving both my British Horse Society Assistant Instructor (BHSAI) and Grooms Diploma certificates. During this same period I was working in a Three Day Event stables and became the youngest groom at the age of 16 to support and travel with 2 young riders in the British Three Day Event Team both at Punchestown Horse Trials in Ireland and Luhmühlen Horse Trials in Germany. I then went on to work with international dressage horses in Belgium for 3 years.
My personal life revolves around walking for miles with my beautiful Hungarian Vizsla, a life-long love of horses and 60's soul and jazz music.
